The Proposal
After receiving the go-ahead from Bruno & Silvana (in May 2023), it was time to implement the greatest plan I'd ever put together. The plan was to propose at the Nazzicone cottage (Jord's most favourite place in the world) somehow using Koda 🐶 as a decoy.
Originally, I was going to risk everything by putting the ring on his collar while we were out for a walk, but I don't trust Koda to not eat my breakfast let alone run into the woods after a squirrel with the ring.
That's when I remembered Jord mentioning how she really wanted one of our dog trainer's new collars he had just released. Bringing him into the lie as well, I asked him to "hire me" to shoot the product in a "beach setting" with Jord as the model.
After several attempts to lure Jord to the cottage, I ultimately had to enlist Bruno (her Dad) to fabricate a story about mandatory cottage labour. It worked.
